About Stress and Humor Expert Nancy Weil

Nancy Weil  is a leading authority on the relationship between humor, stress and grief. 

She believes that everyone needs to laugh more and stress less. To further her mission of mirth, she wrote a book containing stress reduction tools that are simple and effective called If Stress Doesn’t Kill You, Your Family Might.  After receiving her certification as a Laughter Leader through the World Laughter Tour in 2002, Nancy began to spread the good news that laughter truly is the best medicine. Her speaking presentation and CD Laugh for the Health of It continues to educate people about the amazing benefits that laughter brings.

As a professional speaker, Nancy is known for her energetic, entertaining and content-rich programs. She has taken her passion for this unique craft to businesses and organizations, individuals and groups throughout the country. A member of the National Speakers Association, Nancy is also an officer in the New York State Chapter of NSA.

As the Director of Grief Support for eleven cemeteries in the WNY area, she leads the world’s only laughter club held in a cemetery! With certifications as a Funeral Celebrant, Grief Management Specialist and Grief Services Provider, Nancy understands how humor can be used to aid the grieving process. Her booklet, A Brief Exploration of Grief is available as a free download on her website. Nancy also created Bandages for Your Heart, as a DVD and CD, to enable people who are grieving the loss of a loved one to get some relief from the overwhelming emotional pain they may be experiencing.

Thousands of people have learned from Nancy how to create a life that is filled with joy, keeps them humming silly songs and occasionally requires them to put on a clown nose and lighten up.
